The Truth About DNA

DNA is a nucleic acid that is localized in cell nuclei and consists of two long chains of nucleotides twisted together into a double helix and joined by hydrogen bonds between complementary bases adenine and thymine or cytosine and guanine; it carries the cell's genetic information and hereditary characteristics via the sequence of its nucleotides.

Thus, people are identified by their unique DNAs, such as:

DO NOT QUIT....

One day I decided to quit...

I quit my job, my relationship, my spirituality... I wanted to quit my life.

I went to the woods to have one last talk with God.

"God," I said. "Can you give me one good reason not to quit?"

His answer surprised me...

"Look around," He said. "Do you see the fern and the bamboo?"

"Yes," I replied.

"When I planted the fern and the bamboo seeds, I took a very good care of them. I gave them light. I gave them water.

The fern quickly grew from the earth. Its brilliant green covered the floor. Yet nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo.

In the second year, the fern grew more vibrant and plentiful. And again, nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo," He said.

"In the third year, there was still nothing from the bamboo seed. But I would not quit. In the fourth year, again, there was nothing from the bamboo seed. I would not quit," He said

"Then in the fifth year a tiny sprout emerged from the earth. Compared to the fern it was seemingly small and insignificant... But just 6 months later the bamboo rose to over 100 feet tall.

It had spent the five years growing roots.

Those roots made it strong and gave it what it needed to survive. I would not give any of my creations a challenge it could not handle."

He said to me. "Did you know, my child, that all this time you have been struggling, you have actually been growing roots?"

"I would not quit on the bamboo. Neither will I ever quit on you."

"Don't compare yourself to others," He said. "The bamboo had a different purpose than the fern. Yet, they both make the forest beautiful."

"Your time will come," God said to me. " You will rise high! "

"How high should I rise?" I asked.

"How high will the bamboo rise?" He asked in return.

"As high as it can?" I questioned.

"Yes," He said. "Give me glory by rising as high as you can."

I left the forest and bring back this story. I hope these words can help you see that God will never give up on you. He will never give up on you.

Never regret a day in your life.
Good days give you happiness
Bad days give you experiences;
Both are essential to life.

Keep going...

Happiness keeps you Sweet,
Trials keep you Strong,
Sorrows keep you Human,
Failures keep you humble,
Success keeps You Glowing,
But Only God keeps You Going!

THE TIRED, THE CONTENDED, THE ENTHUSIASTS

Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, once told the following story. A group of mountain climbers took off to scale the heights. After some hours of walking they got about halfway up and soon split up into three groups. They were all refreshing themselves at a chalet.

One group was sorry it had undertaken such a strenuous trip fraught with dangers and disproportionate to the expected enjoyment. So disheartened and tired, this group turned back.

The second group was happy it was here in the clear mountain air and with the sun tanning them. So they spread their limbs out on the mountain grass and heartily ate the tasty sandwiches they had brought along. Some broke out into song and breathed in the freedom of the heights. They were content and happy right there. Why move on higher? So they stayed right there.

It was only the third group of real mountain climbers who took off for the summit, which they had kept before their eyes from the time they left the valley bottom. That was their goal and they relished tightening every muscle to attain it. In life as we climb to our goal, at times we belong to one of these three moods.
Positive pictures come out from negatives developed in a dark room. So if you find yourself lonely and in the dark, understand that God is working a beautiful picture for you.

Satan is... Busy?

Today, I received a very familiar email.. Alam nyo na, email about God, na dapat isend sa ganitong tao, or else, bad luck in ganitong years...

But, what caught my attention is the subject of the email, "Satan is Busy, Busy, Busy".. So it caught my eyes, and began reading.. Just to share, this is the whole content of the email...

Satan called a worldwide convention of demons.

In his opening address he said, "We can't keep Christians from going to
church." "We can't keep them from reading their Bibles and knowing the
truth..." "We can't even keep them from forming an intimate relationship
with Their SAVIOR." "Once they gain that connection with JESUS, our power
over them is Broken."

"So let them go to their churches; let them have their covered dish
dinners, BUT steal their time, so they don't have time to develop a
relationship With JESUS CHRIST.."

"This is what I want you to do," said the devil: "Distract them from
gaining hold of their SAVIOR and maintaining that Vital connection
throughout their day!"

"How shall we do this?" his demons shouted.

"Keep them busy in the non-essentials of life and invent innumerable
Schemes to occupy their minds," he answered.... "Tempt them to spend,
spend, spend, and borrow, borrow, borrow." "Persuade the wives to go to
work for long hours and the husbands to work 6-7 days each week, 10-12
hours a day, so they can afford their empty Lifestyles."

"Keep them from spending time with their children."

"As their families fragment, soon, their homes will offer no escape from
The pressures of work!"

"Over-stimulate their minds so that they cannot hear that still, small
voice." "Entice them to play the radio or I-Pod whenever they drive." To
Keep the TV, DVDs, CDs and their PCs going constantly in their home and
see To it that every store and restaurant in the world plays non-biblical
music Constantly."

"Let them play Lil Farm, Farmville and other Facebook games in their
computer the whole day so that their time got consumed in that activity
alone" "This will jam their minds and break that union with CHRIST."

"Fill the coffee tables with magazines and newspapers."

"Pound their minds with the news 24 hours a day."

"Invade their driving moments with billboards."

"Flood their mailboxes with junk mail, mail order catalogs, sweepstakes,
and Every kind of newsletter and promotional offering free products,
services And false hopes."

"Keep skinny, beautiful models on the magazines and TV so their husbands
Will believe that outward beauty is what's important, and they'll
Become dissatisfied with their wives. "

"Keep the wives too tired to love their husbands at night." "Give them
headaches too! " "If they don't give their husbands the love they need,
they will begin to Look elsewhere."

"That will fragment their families quickly!"

"Give them Santa Claus to distract them from teaching their children the
Real meaning of Christmas.."

"Give them an Easter bunny so they won't talk about HIS resurrection
And power over sin and death..."

"Even in their recreation, let them be excessive." "Have them return
from their recreation exhausted."

"Keep them too busy to go out in nature and reflect onGOD'S creation.
Send them to amusement parks, sporting events, plays, concerts, and movies
Instead."

"Keep them busy, busy, busy!"

"And when they meet for spiritual fellowship, involve them in gossip and
Small talk so that they leave with troubled consciences."

"Crowd their lives with so many good causes they have no time to seek
Power from JESUS."

"Soon they will be working in their own strength, sacrificing their health
And family for the good of the cause."

"It will work!"

"It will work!"

It was quite a plan! The demons went eagerly to their assignments causing
Christians everywhere To get busier & more rushed, going here & there.
Having little time for their GOD or their families. Having no time to tell

others about the power of JESUS to change lives.

I guess the question is, has the devil been successful in his schemes?

You be the judge!!!!!

Does "BUSY" mean: B-eing U-nder S-atan's Y-oke?

Please pass this on, if you aren't too BUSY!

Do You Love HIM?

IF YOU LOVE JESUS, PASS THIS ON!!!!!!!

I have not forwarded this email, why? Ewan ko.. Kasi I really felt, that this email is some how TRUE... If you will notice, a lot of us, will start our day, preparing for work, always thinking, "aw, late na naman ako" or "hay trabaho na naman", but we never even thanked HIM for giving us another day.

After the whole day, what will you notice, people on the train, listening to Ipod, or the newest tech, Ipad, or sa Iphone. Lagi na lang, mga taong nakasaksak ang earphones sa tenga, naglalaro sa PSP, or whatsoever that will not bore them. Hindi mo man lang ba maisip to thank HIM, na natapos mo ang araw ng buhay pa?

So, this email made me feel, I need to post this one on my blog.. Because these kinds of emails, should be posted online, para mabasa ng nakakarami.

Let's all think, walang kwenta lahat ng pinaghihirapan natin ngayon, when we die. Please also reflect on the story above, it is true hindi ba? It makes us very busy, na dumadating sa point na wala na tayong TIME para sa KANYA.

Ayan....

Wala lang.. gusto ko lang kasing magpalit ng template, at eto, pangit ang kinalabasan..

Hehehehe..

Dibale, pag nakahanap ako ng maganda gandang template, papalitan ko din ito..

Kaloka...

SPERM COUNT

An 85-year-old man went to his doctor's office to get a sperm count. The doctor gave the man a jar and said, "Take this jar home and bring back a semen sample tomorrow."

The next day the 85-year-old man reappeared at the doctor's office and gave him the jar, which was as clean and empty as on the previous day. The doctor asked what happened and the man explained: "Well, doc, it is like this - First I tried with my right hand, but nothing. Then I tried with my left hand, but still nothing.

Then I asked my wife for help. She tried with her right hand, then her left, still nothing. She tried with her mouth, first with the teeth in, then with her teeth out, and still nothing. We even called up Arleen, the lady next door and she tried too, first with both hands, then an armpit and she even tried
squeezing it between her knees, but still nothing."

The doctor was shocked! "You asked your neighbor?"

The old man replied, "Yep. And no matter what we tried, we still could not get the jar open."

OH, WHAT A POLLUTED MIND!!!

- just to make every one happy, and also, a great way to start the week!

H A N D S

As Thanksgiving Day drew near, a class of first-graders were assigned to draw a picture of something to be thankful for. Some drew a house or a car or a turkey or food or toys. But one little boy drew a hand.

Then the class tried to figure out whose hand it was… God’s? The policemen? The farmer’s for growing the food? But no one could guess; and the little boy would not tell.

Then the children all ran outside for recess and the teacher came up to the little boy and asked softly, Whose hand did you draw?” He said, “Yours!”

Tears came to her eyes as she recalled all the times she had used a hand to guide his pencil, or lead him across the street… for he was LAME.

Do You Have More Than One Purpose?

As humans we have many purposes. We all lead different lives and have had many different scenarios played out that only we can know about.

We have had our up's and down's. We have made the most of some situation's whilst letting others pass us by. We have learned many different lessons and will continue to do so.

Our ability to operate is amazing and by looking in from the outside is inspiration alone. We are the creation happening and we are always making progress.

A lesson learned is progress. Sometimes it takes a mistake to enable a lesson learned.

Celebrate a mistake with newfound optimism over a new lesson learned.

If you ever drift, think of a caterpillar on its way up the tree to become something different from what it had been. Ask yourself this; when does evolution take place?

Now is the time when progress takes grace. In this moment, we are all we can be; we have learned many lessons like our friend, the butterfly, leaving the tree.

GARBAGE TRUCK

One day I hopped in a taxi and we took off for the airport. We were driving in the right lane when suddenly a black car jumped out of a parking space right in front of us. My taxi driver slammed on his brakes, skidded, and missed the other car by just inches! The driver of the other car whipped his head around and started yelling at us. My taxi driver just smiled and waved at the guy. And I mean, he was really friendly.

So I asked, 'Why did you just do that? That guy almost ruined your car and sent us to the hospital!' That is when my taxi driver taught me what I now call, 'The Law of the Garbage Truck.' He explained that many people are like garbage trucks. They run around full of garbage, full of frustration, full of anger, and full of disappointment. As their garbage piles up, they need a place to dump it and sometimes they will dump it on you. Do not take it personally. Just smile, wave, wish them well, and move on. Do not take their garbage and spread it to other people at work, at home, or on the streets. The bottom line is that successful people do not let garbage trucks take over their day. Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets, so..... 'Love the people who treat you right. Pray for the ones who do not.' Life is ten percent what you make it and ninety percent how you take it.

THE BUZZARD, THE BAT & THE BUMMBLEBEE

The Buzzard:

If you put a buzzard in a pen that is 6 feet by 8 feet and is entirely open at the top, the bird, in spite of its ability to fly, will be an absolute prisoner. The reason is that a buzzard always begins a flight from the ground with a run of 10 to 12 feet. Without space to run, as is its habit, it will not even attempt to fly, but will remain a prisoner for life in a small jail with no top.

The Bat:

The ordinary bat that flies around at night, a remarkable nimble creature in the air, cannot take off from a level place. If it is placed on the floor or flat ground, all it can do is shuffle about helplessly and, no doubt, painfully, until it reaches some slight elevation from which it can throw itself into the air. Then, at once, it takes off like a flash.

The Bumblebee:

A bumblebee, if dropped into an open tumbler, will be there until it dies, unless it is taken out. It never sees the means of escape at the top, but persists in trying to find some way out through the sides near the bottom. It will seek a way where none exists, until it completely destroys itself.

People:

In many ways, we are like the buzzard, the bat, and the bumblebee. We struggle about with all our problems and frustrations, never realizing that all we have to do is look up! That is the answer, the escape route and the solution to any problem! Just look up!

Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around, but faith looks up!

Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly, and trust in

our Creator who loves us.

THE STORM

One day a young lady was driving along with her father.
They came upon a storm, and the young lady asked her father, what should I do?"

He said "keep driving". Cars began to pull over to the side, the storm was getting worse.

"What should I do?" The young lady asked? "Keep driving," her father replied.

On up a few feet, she noticed that eighteen wheelers were also pulling over. She told her dad, "I must pull over, I can barely see ahead. It is terrible, and everyone is pulling over!"

Her father told her, "Do not give up, just keep driving!"

Now the storm was terrible, but she never stopped driving, and soon she could see a little more clearly. After a couple of miles she was again on dry land, and the sun came out.

Her father said, "Now you can pull over and get out."

She said "But why now?"

He said "When you get out, look back at all the people that gave up and are still in the storm, because you never gave up your storm is now over.

This is a testimony for anyone who is going through "hard times".

Just because everyone else, even the strongest, gives up. You do not have to...if you keep going, soon your storm will be over and the sun will shine upon your face again.

A holy man was having a conversation with the Lord one day and said, 'Lord, I would like to know what Heaven and Hell are like.'

The Lord led the holy man to two doors. He opened one of the doors and the holy man looked in. In the middle of the room was a large round table. In the middle of the table was a large pot of stew, which smelled delicious and made the holy man's mouth water.

The people sitting around the table were thin and sickly. They appeared to be famished. They were holding spoons with very long handles that were strapped to their arms and each found it possible to reach into the pot of stew and take a spoonful. But because the handle was longer than their arms, they could not get the spoons back into their mouths. The holy man shuddered at the sight of their misery and suffering.

The Lord said, 'You have seen Hell.'
They went to the next room and opened the door. It was exactly the same as the first one.

There was the large round table with the large pot of stew which made the holy man's mouth water. The people were equipped with the same long-handled spoons, but here the people were well nourished and plump, laughing and talking.

The holy man said, 'I don't understand.'

'It is simple,' said the Lord. 'It requires but one skill. You see they have learned to feed each other, while the greedy think only of themselves.'

To those who feel HOPELESS

For those who feels hopeless, and that you just want to give up on everything that you do, please dont. I just felt that way the past days, and found out that I should not feel that way. Every day, we hear the birds, see the sun rise, hear children playing, dogs running around, we just have to have a positive outlook.

Is there something outside of you that's troubling you? The distress you're feeling is not from the thing itself.

The distress you experience is from what you think of it and the way you feel about it. You can change that in an instant.

You can change what you fear into what you eagerly anticipate. You can change a burdensome problem into a magnificent opportunity.

The vast majority of all that happens in this enormous universe is out of your control. And yet with every bit of it, you can control what it means to you.

Do you fully realize how much power that gives you? Do you understand the unlimited nature of what you can do with whatever you have?

Just by the way you choose to accept and to make use of reality, you can bend that reality to empower your own unique purpose. See what is, accept what is, and use it to achieve your finest dreams.

Inspiring...

While browsing in the internet, I wanted to read some stories to inspire me. Inspire me and motivate me on what I do, and on the things that disappoints me.

I have found this one:

The world will challenge you. Choose to challenge yourself even more, in ways that are meaningfully fulfilling.

There is much that you are expected to do. Choose to do even more, and to greatly exceed those expectations.

Life can often serve up some unpleasant surprises. Choose to always make yourself, and what you do, a pleasant surprise.

Focus not on how little you can get away with. Concentrate on how much you can get done.

Know that there is always an even better way, and find it. Let the triumphs as well as the disappointments of the past inspire you to create a more enriching and fulfilling future.

The quality of the world you live in depends on the quality of value that you're willing to create. Be more than willing, and make your world an even more beautiful place.

-- Ralph Marston

I have found that when putting thought for the day on my search box.

I hope it inspires you too.

Thoughts for the day....

"When someone becomes a part of us, letting go is a loss we feel. We naturally don't like change and we don't like to feel sadness or loss so we tend to settle for what makes us feel better, even if it's in a failing situation and in our rational minds we know we shouldn't. You have to be willing to experience the loss and let go. You have to decide that you want more for yourself and when you have, that's when you begin to heal and time will do the rest."

Haven't Been Here for a While

Whew! I never thought that I have not been here for a while. Maybe because, there were some things that needs to be done, and some decisions to be made.

Now, I have resigned from my work, and, dakilang tambay nga daw ako... Hehehehe.. Well its true, while Im looking for another job, heto, Im a bum. No work... But I am not losing my hope into finding one.

I never thought that the job where I go to everyday for almost three years is now... gone.. I am not bitter about it, but I am definitely sad about it. But Im happy too, because, finally, Im going to move on and hope that it will be a good one.
